My Lab Results from August 4, 2014
In my Butter Makes Your Pants Fall Off video and in the word for word script that you can read on this website, I said the following:
I’ve been on a high fat low carb diet every day for 16 months.
And I want to share some my numbers with you:
- I went from 58 inches at my belly on April 8th, 2013 to 34 and a half inches at my belly button today.
I just got a blood test on August 4th, 2014 and here’s my results:
- My fasting glucose was 79 which is great, so I’m certainly not diabetic.
- My HDL cholesterol is 48 which is good.
- My Triglycerides are 53 which is fantastic.
Listen, a high fat diet has not clogged my arteries.
Now for the proof:

Most diets cause you to use “will power” to eat less, but this doesn’t work for long for most people. The LCHF (low carb/high fat) diet turns off the “out of control hunger urges” that you’ve struggled with all your life and gives you control, gives you freedom without using “will power”. This will enable to do what is called “intermittent fasting”.
Intermittent Fasting or Short-term fasting.

- The most complete source of information on intermittent fasting can be gained all in one convenient book, which I highly recommend.
- This fantastic ebook contains over 300 pier reviewed studies, it takes on the myths about fasting one by one and destroys them.
- It has many charts that show you how short fasts reduce your insulin, release fat from your belly and so much more.
- You need this book if you are serious about fasting.
- You need this information to counter those who will put doubts in your mind.
- I’ve written a critical review of some of the parts, but I think “Eat Stop Eat” is the best fasting book you can find at this time.
- This site receives a portion of the sales when you buy this book, it helps pay the expenses here, but doesn’t cost you any more.

I don’t know if you will respond or not but here goes
I have been on long for 3 weeks and my sugar count has gone from 124 to 155.
My carb intake has been around 15-25 and my sugar intake has been around 10-15g. Does it usually go up before it goes down. Yes I am extremely overweight.
Please let me know if this is normal or I am doing something wrong
Diane, I am having the same problem! I’ve had a couple days of great blood sugars and now I am struggling to keep them down. I take 1000 MG of Metformin twice a day and wear a V-go insulin pump that I no longer pump. I often wake up to higher level than when I went to bed. HELP US PLEASE!!!
Bob, I recently shared my success story with you, but I am having a specific problem since I started low carb and at times keto. I am losing my hair at a pretty rapid speed. It has always been fine and not as thick as I would like but not that hard to manage. Have you heard of this problem before from any other persons? I have been studying various sites about hair loss ( I am female) and the info is pretty general. I am trying to find out if there are specific vitamins or minerals that could be lacking or what I can do to compensate for this lack. I have heard of 2 other people who lost hair on a radical diet. Anything anyone can share would be appreciated. Thank You, BJ Schafer
I really don’t know BJ, I’m sorry. It’s possible that your not getting something in your diet that you need. That sounds reasonable.
BJ Schafer — I have lost a lot of hair as well, right after I did my first stint of this “Diet”, that was in the year 2012. All is fine now. I take a vitamin B supplement: Hair, Skin, Nails (Spring Valley) from Wal-Mart. My hair was always problematic, never grew much, but now it grows about an inch per month. I am thrilled. The B vitamins also help with my Diabetes.
I hope that this gets to your attention. — Ulrike
Bob, can you post your Pre-HFLC blood test numbers as a comparison to the Post-16 months? Thank you.
