Good morning everyone, this is old Butter Bob. I’m out here on an early morning stroll.
Behind me is a pretty famous landmark here in my hometown, it’s called the Cream City sign.
And at night, years ago, it used to be a lit up neon sign.
And here, where I’m standing is the old historic Depot, the Historic Depot.
And behind me, not too far from here, is an old historic train.
I’ll show you, there’s the caboose, and there’s the coal car, there’s the engine.
Your Body Knows How to Burn Fat
There’s a lot of gimmicks out there. There’s a lot of people trying to sell you stuff.
And they’re trying to sell you stuff because when someone’s desperate, they’ll do almost anything. They’re ripe for the pickings. But, that’s not what my work’s all about. My work’s about telling you the truth about weight loss.
And you know what the most important thing you could possibly understand about weight loss is? Your body knows how to burn that fat you have. It knows how. All you have to do is, give it the tools it needs, and it’ll set in to losing the weight and keeping it off.
Eat this, eat that
Everybody in the world says eat this, eat that. What can you eat, to lose weight? But that’s the wrong question.
Even I say it. You know, even I have said it in the past. You know, when I say, Butter Makes Your Pants Fall Off, I’m telling you to eat a certain thing.
Of course there’s a reason for that, you know, eating butter and eating fatty foods, cuts your appetite off and allows you to do the thing that I’m going to tell you to do right now.
You know, you’re either fed, or you’re fasted. You’re either eating and storing food as fat, or you’re fasting and using the fat that you’ve already stored.
Fasting is the key to losing weight, It really is. And it’s surprisingly easy to do.
My Most exciting Light Bulb Moment
This was the most exciting thing to me that I have ever understood is the day that it finally dawned on me what George Cahill saying, the scientist that I talk about a lot.
If a person doesn’t eat, doesn’t eat their body’s insulin level goes down enough that the body starts burning fat.
The problem is that people eat a low calorie diet or a high carb, low calorie diet, and they’re eating a little bit at a time, all through the day. And they never give their body enough time to get into fat burning mode.
But, once you give your body enough time, if you give your body enough time, it goes into fat burning mode.
That’s what it does.
It’s the most amazing thing in the world.
Once you understand this, once you understand the real magic to weight loss is not eating
You’re going to make this not doing something, which is fasting
It’s like, everybody wants to do something, but the best thing you could do is to do nothing.
To do nothing at all. What you want to do, is do nothing. You want to not eat, for periods of time.
There’s no food that you can eat to lose weight.
The whole entire weight loss industry has trained us to believe that it is food.
FOOD is the magic to losing weight.
What food can you eat to lose weight?
Well, I’m going to tell you something there’s no food that you can eat to lose weight. And that’s literally it. There’s no food that you can eat to lose weight. None at all.
The only way to lose weight is to not eat. And not eating is the magic of weight loss.
Powerful Experiment you can do for Yourself
I want, I want to tell you something give yourself a little experiment.
You’re not losing weight?
I want you to get up in the morning and not eat. I want you to eat your dinner at night, and eat all you want and I mean ALL you want.
Sleep all night and get up in the morning and don’t eat a thing until dinnertime the next day.
And do that every day. Do it every day.
And you’ll lose weight. You’ll lose weight.
And yea, I’m a big advocate for Low Carb High Fat because I believe fat people, I mean it’s a proven fact, fat people have a lot more insulin than thin people but, I’ll be honest with you, I honestly believe that any diet that you choose to eat, if you do this plan, you’ll lose weight.
Now, let’s be honest if you do that, if you choose a high carb diet, you’re more than likely not going to be as healthy as you should be, because nothing is more dangerous for your health than having high blood sugars.
So, I would choose a high fat diet especially if I was really heavy.
But, if you’ll do a 24 hour fast it would really amount to 23 and a half, you’re going to find you’re losing weight.
And forget counting calories, forget doing anything, eat, eat all you want at your meal at night, eat and enjoy yourself because, this is what the magic is, during that time, when you’re not eating, You’re in fat burning mode. Big time.
Yes, there’s other ways. I think a more sustainable way for most people would be the 16 hour fast.
But, I want to tell you something, if you just want no rules at all, eat one meal a day and fast.
And you’ll find this is the most powerful thing you have ever done in your life.
Because, it is the most powerful thing you’ve ever done in your life.
There is nothing on the face of this earth that’s more powerful than turning on your body’s own biology.
And your body’s own biology, is fasting.
Look, after so many hours your body switches over to burning fat.
And if it’s burning fat on a regular daily basis, you’re going to start losing weight. You’re going to start losing more and more weight. You just are.
And there’s nothing more powerful than that. There’s no diet that’s more powerful than that. Although I’m a strong advocate for low carb, high fat, I’m even a more stronger advocate for fasting. Because fasting is natures way.
Boy, the morning sun is out good, this morning. Makes me feel good, all over. Nothing’s more rejuvenating than coming out for a little walk. Clearing your mind. Hope you’ve enjoyed this little video, without all the technicalities without all the studies.
